UP: A Woman Deepika, dies in alleged dowry case in Greater Noida, devastated family demands justice

In the Ecotech-III area of Greater Noida, a woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof of her house. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of harassing her for dowry. The deceased woman has been identified as Deepika; she had married Hritik, a resident of Jalpura village, approximately a year and a half ago. An FIR has been registered based on the complaint filed by the woman's father, and her husband, Hritik, along with her father-in-law, Manoj, have been arrested. Sister of the deceased victim, Sarika Nagar says, "She was murdered brutally... I had talked to her on call at 11 PM when she said she was disturbed... Had they told us, we could have brought her back home... She told us that her in-laws had been torturing her for more dowry... They might be bailed in a few days and each one of them is a criminal...
