Changing The Brushes On Your K9 Dryer - Part 2

In Part Two of this series, I’ll walk you through the partial disassembly of the K-9 II dryer so we can access the motor brushes. If your K-9 has been running weak, cutting out, or sitting in storage for a while, it’s worth checking the brushes before assuming the motor is bad. I’ll show you exactly what needs to come apart, how to safely remove the switch and motor and share a few tips to make the process easier—especially if you’re working on a two-motor K-9 II model. Tools you’ll need: Various screwdrivers (a standard set and an electrician’s screwdriver) ½” wrench for removing the switch Vice grips and a heat gun Patience and about 30 minutes working time! 👉 Watch Part One if you missed the overview on why motor brushes matter and what symptoms to look for. 👉 Watch our other K9 Dryer videos on the Dryer Playlist #doggrooming #dryermainteance #K9dryer #groomingshop #petgroomingtools
