Even in this area famous for its fish market, there are hardly any young people to be seen, and vacant storefronts and buildings are prominent. Where has the former bustle gone? Then she visited Gamcheon Culture Village, a popular tourist destination known as "Busan's Machu Picchu." Despite it being the weekend, there were a few foreign tourists around. However, many souvenir shops and stores had their shutters down, and signs reading "Tenants Wanted" were prominently displayed. Amidst all this, Shizuka went to the home of a 97-year-old grandmother. As we sip coffee made by grandma, we listen carefully to stories of Busan's past and about life today. The bustle of the past, the tranquility of today.
