The return fixture vs Kenilworth Wardens 4s at Glasshouse Lane — last time we beat them by 9 wickets, this time by 8. We were stronger, sharper, and more organised, and it showed throughout the game. I’ll be honest: I got in my own head. Thought I’d been hit for loads, all in quick succession. I felt flat not opening the bowling given the expectations I had from the previous weeks performances… but the numbers don’t lie. Just 16 runs off my 5 overs and a solid shift in a comfortable team win, that we finished inside 30 overs. Wardens were a good bunch of lads again!, a good day out, a drink together after the match, which is as rare as hens teeth thee days!
