Educación a distancia. Calidad e impacto en la innovación pedagógica

The webinar presented the main findings of the exploratory study "Quality of Distance Education in Peru," developed within the framework of the MetaRed TIC Perú network and with the participation of public and private Peruvian universities. In addition, we benefited from the experience of UNIMINUTO University in Colombia, whose academic offerings are primarily delivered through distance education. They presented their institutional strategy for distance education, the use of various technologies, the student support process, faculty development and digital skills, and the challenges posed by the integration of AI in this educational modality. Furthermore, a speaker from IP Leiria in Portugal shared their perspective on the impact of distance education on pedagogical methods and its influence on educational innovation. The objectives established for the meeting were: 1. To share the main results of the exploratory study. 2. To share university experiences regarding this educational modality in Higher Education Institutions. 3.- Share the key aspects of the impact of distance education on pedagogical methods in Higher Education Institutions.
