US Sugar 148: Florida Steam Special

Join our production team along the South Central Florida Express as we join Sugar Express on a two-day event featuring US Sugar 148 on the weekend of January 17-18, 2026, kicking off our year on the right foot. Some slight changes were made on USSC 148 as it was given its original appearance with the USSC logo on the tender and the addition of N&W 1218 whistle on the locomotive. On the first day, we follow US Sugar 148 with sugar cane cars at Keela Wye, Miami Canal Bridge, Rogers Road, and Liberty Point. Then on the following day, US Sugar 148 would have a three car passenger train as we followed the train through Lake Harbor, Moore Haven, Fisheating Creek, and Liberty Point concluding a very fun and productive weekend for our team in Clewiston. Special thanks to the wonderful folks at US Sugar and Sugar Express for making the event possible! We plan on returning to Clewiston again hopefully soon in the near future.
