Circular Fashion: ritorno alle emozioni | Niccolò Cipriani | TEDxFirenze

We can save our planet with a gentle revolution: let's rediscover the emotions that accompany the clothes we buy and already own. This is the first form of sustainability in the fashion industry. Niccolò Cipriani has successfully combined his background in cooperation, sustainable development, and his family tradition in the Prato textile industry. Always driven by an interest in internationalization, he traveled to Vietnam, where he explored social entrepreneurship, microcredit, and vocational training. When he realized that unsold clothing sold in the West would end up in landfills or incinerators, he decided to give those clothes a second life. Thus, in 2017, Rifò was born, a project that produces high-quality garments and accessories made from 100% regenerated textile fibers from wool, cashmere, and now denim, into new yarns used to create soft, ethical, zero-mile products.
