Few people know two things: first, the word "Disruption" doesn't exist in the Brazilian dictionary; second, despite being a relatively new word, there are accounts of disruptive innovation that occurred thousands of years ago. To be disruptive, you don't necessarily need to focus on digital disruption! And you'll see some examples of disruptive innovation throughout this video. Disruptive innovation in entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly common, and you can be on either side of this story. You can be the disruptor or the disruptive force. If your company suffers disruption, it most likely means it will cease to exist if it isn't agile enough to react to this drastic market change led by another company. Innovation and disruption may seem synonymous to some, but they are very different! So what does it mean to be disruptive? How to be disruptive? How to achieve the disruptive growth so desired by many entrepreneurs? Is this the era of disruption?
