This car, the Porsche 356 1500 S of the D’Inca Levis/Facca team came over the finish line with a time of 15 hours 13 minutes and 14 seconds, finishing 53th overall and second in its class. The car with integrated bumpers was delivered new in early 1952 to Modena, Italy, chassis 11208 was entered under the start number 314 and the registration 8399 BL. Startnumber 314 ment that they would begin the race in the very early morning of 3:14 AM. Porsche AG installed an early 1.500cc prototype engine (type 527 / 1500S) in the car, analog to the Works racing cars. The 1.500 S engine was available to the public about one year later and with more power and torque it was a big advantage in the road race.
