ADDIO FRECCIARGENTO ETR700…

Months after the release of the first ETR700 Frecciarossa, we can now say with certainty that all trains have received this livery. On the evening of Monday 30 May 2022, the ETR700.08 came out of the Vicenza workshops, the first example of the group to receive the Frecciarossa livery (    • IL PRIMISSIMO ETR700 (EX FYRA) FRECCIAROSS...   ). The day after, the convoy together with the ETR400.20, ETR600.10 and ETR500.37 were presented at Milano Centrale on the occasion of Trenitalia's "Summer Experience 2022". After the presentation the train was sent to the Venice Mestre depot where it then carried out a commercial train to Milan Central Station. In October 2022, there were only six trains still in Frecciargento livery, of which four in the dark livery and two in the light one. On the evening of Wednesday 30 November 2022 the ETR700.01 in the new Frecciarossa color scheme left Vicenza and in its place the dark ETR700.15 Frecciargento entered which on 29 November had carried out the last Frecciargento 8828 Lecce-Venezia Santa Lucia . On Monday 12 December 2022, the ETR700.12 Frecciarossa left the Vicenza workshops and the last ETR700 in Frecciargento livery entered its place, as well as the 14 in light livery. After receiving the Frecciarossa livery on Friday 23 December 2022, it was delivered to Venice Mestre. With this last convoy delivered, the Frecciargento brand on the ETR700s ended. Remaining on the Frecciargento theme, the following livery still remains on 4 ETR600, 15 ETR485 and 7 ETR610, the latter however without logos. Given the trend of the Frecciarossa livery on the ETR600s, it is estimated that by the beginning of March all trains will have received the same livery.
