We start the tour in the village of Krka and warm up right at the beginning with a steep climb towards Hočevje. This is followed by a ride on beautiful gravel roads and pure wilderness all the way to Veliki Korinj. Highlights of this tour: An enjoyable and dynamic 2.5 km long descent to Kal. A well-deserved break with a cold beer on the terrace of the Koren guesthouse overlooking the impressive Žužemberk Castle. Descent along the beautiful "Roman Path" towards Vrhovo. The absolute highlight: riding on a narrow forest footpath directly above the Krka riverbed. To top it all off, a visit to the very source of the Krka River before returning to the starting point. The route offers everything – from steep cart tracks and fast descents to picturesque views and historical sites.
