I arrived in Jujuy by motorcycle, and the altitude quickly reminded me where I was. At over 3,000 meters, your body feels it… so much so that I ended up with a nosebleed from the altitude. But little by little, I acclimatized, breathing more slowly and letting my body adjust to this new latitude. In this chapter, I explore one of the most incredible places in northern Argentina: the Salinas Grandes, a white desert at over 3,400 meters above sea level that seems like it belongs to another planet.
