Punting and Poetry
Cambridge, Punting and Poetry In this video we went punting in Cambridge. Truth be told, we had a guy named Bea do the punting Although he made it look like we could have done it ourselves which probably would have made a better video!! Seriously Mark's back would probably not have been happy and if Beth did it, well who knows what could have happened? Anyhow we did get out on the water and also enjoyed a nice pub lunch at the Eagle pub. We took the bus to Cambridge to avoid the parking situation and we were glad of it too! We ran into a poetic busker and spent a pleasant visit and walked away with a nice memory on paper. Hope you guys enjoy this one. WHAT BE NEXT? We be winding up our UK visit with just a few weeks left to experience Sunday lunch, Greggs and fish and chips, not to mention the excellent hospitality of most everyone we meet. The UK will genuinely be missed by us as our second home! Soon we will be returning to “The Continent” . We've booked our ferry to Dunkirk and are looking forward to all that is offered in Europe. Our list includes France Belgium The Netherlands Germany Denmark and Norway If you have any suggestions on where we should video something let us know in the comments Everything else is as it was no big news. Mark still has simple maintenance work scheduled on his heart in Belgium in late July with the guy who did the stint. So thankful for the skill of surgeons although this time it's just a checkup. While we are there Chocolates from Brugges? We have our reservations for a NICE campground near the hospital and we have lunch plans in Rotterdam for later this month and we still need to stop at Harro’s for a mail pickup and discussions on the sale of the van. For all our friends, viewers, subscribers, thanks for watching! A really big part of us doing these videos is your support. Just by watching our videos you inspire us to be better at doing them and keep trying new things and keep learning everyday about different people and different places in the world. Loosely quoted Mark Twain Travel is not for the weak and is absolutely fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow mindedness !! We’ll see YOU up and down the road!
