What’s something I’ve learned recently that has improved and changed my life? 5. What material things am I grateful for? 6. How am I fortunate in this life? 7. Who do I love and appreciate? And why? 8. What’s an opportunity I have that I’m thankful for? 9. What’s one kind or thoughtful thing someone did for me recently? 10. What’s something you’re looking forward to in the future? Few things you can do to boost your gratefulness. 1. Count your blessings every morning. Make a list of all that you are grateful for. Start gratitude journal. 2. Take a few minutes to give yourself the opportunity to focus on the positive things in your life. 3. Spend time breathing is important in achieving this sense of awareness. Red Ribbon Breathing: deep, slow, abdominal in-breath followed by a slow out-breath. 4. Make sure to smile as much as possible throughout your day! Smiling not only helps to prevent looking tired, worn down, and overwhelmed but it can actually help decrease stress, elevate mood and boost your immune system! 5. Notice the beauty in nature each day. 6. See the growth opportunity in your mistakes. Embrace challenges and turn them into opportunities to grow. 7. Change your perspective. Focus on your strengths. When things feel hard, ask yourself: What’s good here? 8. Thank yourself. Gratitude doesn’t always need to be focused on other people!
