Omkar Dadarkar was born on 30 July 1977 in Mumbai, Mr. Omkar Dadarkar belongs to the family of 'Marathi theater music'. He received early guidance from his aunt, the late renowned classical singer Manik Verma, and then from Ram Deshpande. After being awarded the CCRT Scholarship (Delhi) for classical music, he studied under Pandit Yashwantbua Joshi under the Guru-Shishya-Parampara at Dadar-Matunga Cultural Centre. Shri Omkar Dadarkar has gained recognition as a regular concert artist across India as well as in the US, Canada and the UK. He has performed at ITC Music Conferences in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai besides prestigious programs in Nepal and Canada.
