Hindustani vocal singing was presented by Omkar Dadarkar ji. Pandit Mitilesh Jha ji (tabla), Parumita Mukherjee (harmonium), Mohit Khan and Kamal Verma (tanpura/vocals) supported him. Omkar Dadarkar was born on 30 July 1977 in Mumbai, Mr. Omkar Dadarkar belongs to the family of 'Marathi theater music'. He received early guidance from his aunt, the late renowned classical singer Manik Verma, and then from Ram Deshpande. After being awarded the CCRT Scholarship (Delhi) for classical music, he studied under Pandit Yashwantbua Joshi under the Guru-Shishya-Parampara at Dadar-Matunga Cultural Centre. Shri Omkar Dadarkar has gained recognition as a regular concert artist across India as well as in the US, Canada and the UK. He has performed at ITC Music Conferences in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai besides prestigious programs in Nepal and Canada. Prestigious Darbar Mahotsav, UK He was also widely praised for his performance in. Among his many awards, he received the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar in 2010, which is given by the Sangeet Natak Akademi to talented artists under the age of 35. Along with this, he was also awarded the Aditya Vikram Birla Award in 2009. He also became the first recipient of the “Chaturanga Music Scholarship Award” given by the Chaturanga Foundation in collaboration with Mumbai. Virasat 2023 is a cultural and heritage festival that celebrates Indian and international folk and classical dance, music, arts and crafts, and heritage. The festival is organized by REACH (Rural Entrepreneurship for Art & Cultural Heritage) and supported by various sponsors and partners.
