Campsite Tour and trips - Devizes Camping & Caravanning Club Site

We are back on the road after an unplanned return home. With the weather this summer being so unpredictable we have moved around the country trying to follow the illusive sun! In this video we stay at the Camping & Caravanning Club Site just outside Devizes which is right by the Kennet & Avon Canal. We take some trips out to the fascinating Avebury Circle, the largest Megalithic stone circle in the world and Silbury Hill a manmade chalk hill dating from around 2400 BC. We also cycle along the canal to the amazing Caen Hill Lock flight the longest continuous lock flight in the country. It has 29 locks with a rise of 237 feet over 2 miles, it takes 4 hours to navigate the entire flight! We hope you enjoy the video - if you do please like, comment and share.
