Hypopressive training is an abdominal strengthening technique that does not impact the joints. It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The benefits of hypopressive training include: Reduction of abdominal circumference Improved posture Increased core strength Reduction of lower back pain To do the workout, you will need a mat and a mirror to monitor your posture. Standing posture: Place your feet a hand's width apart. Keep your body elongated and your body weight on the balls of your feet. Take three deep breaths, bringing the air into your rib cage. On the last breath, hold your breath and perform an abdominal vacuum, pulling your belly in. Hold the vacuum for 4 seconds. Exhale through your mouth and relax your belly. Repeat the abdominal vacuum 3 times. Lying posture: Lie on your back with your feet flat on the floor. Maintain the natural curve of your spine. Take three deep breaths, bringing the air into your rib cage. On your last breath, hold your breath and create an abdominal vacuum, pulling your belly inward. Hold the vacuum for 4 seconds. Exhale through your mouth and relax your belly. Repeat the abdominal vacuum 3 times. Do this workout twice a week for best results.
