Baden-Württemberg durchwandern - Folge 3: Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald

My third leg of the Route de Ländle takes me back to Bad Wimpfen, where I hike my last stretch along the Neckar River. Here, the Jagst and Kocher rivers flow into the Neckar in close proximity. Nearby is the new Schwarz Digit Campus, a state-of-the-art company complex that I explore with interest. I pass numerous vineyards and begin to understand why the region is also known as the Franconian Tuscany. After spending the night in Dimbach, the next day I head into the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. I find the many forest stream valleys, such as the Hörschbach and the Strümpfelbach, particularly charming. I spend the night in Wüstenrot and Murrhardt. My four-day stage ends in Welzheim. The Route de Ländle is a long-distance hiking trail in Baden-Württemberg that starts in Weinheim and leads through various natural and cultural landscapes of the state in 35 stages. The destination is Konstanz on Lake Constance. I'm hiking this long-distance trail in weekend stages, and hopefully afterwards I'll be able to adequately answer the question posed in the slogan: "Nice here.
