A 4K Cinematic Video Tour of the stunning Rievaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire. The original wooden Abbey was founded in 1131 by Walter Espec, lord of Helmsley but in 1135 construction began on the impressive stone structure which can still be partially seen today. Like may English Abbey's Rievaulx was destroyed by King Henry VIII during the English Reformation. What stands today is an absolutely stunning reminder of the what was once one of Englands largest Abbeys. The whole video was shot using the iPhone 7 Plus and Filmic Pro.
