NORTH YORK MOORS WALKS FEATURING HELMSLEY, HELMSLEY CASTLE, RIEVAULX ABBEY AND RIEVAULX TERRACE "Ruins of Rievaulx” Filmed 3rd October 2016 Post-production completed 2nd January 2017 "Ruins of Rievaulx" marks my return to the North York Moors National Park. During my first visit to the area back in September 2015 I was already planning to return in the near future. This film centres around the town of Helmsley along with Helmsley Castle, and then features the wonderful ruin that is Rievaulx Abbey as well as Rievaulx Terrace, designed to take in the view of the abbey. Filmed in the North York Moors in the county of North Yorkshire. Locations include Helmsley, Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Abbey and Rievaulx Terrace. Written, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach. Any other names credited in this film, i.e. Bob Morgan and Martin Roy, are pseudonyms, which I used at the time of making this film. However, I no longer use these pseudonyms as I want viewers to be clear that my films are completely my own work.
