The experience began even before dawn; with flashlights in hand and a starry sky as company, the group started their 14-kilometer hike through the sandy desert at 2:00 AM. As dawn approaches, the horizon takes on vibrant colors of pink and orange with the sunrise. This natural spectacle is just one of the rewards for those who face nights sleeping in hammocks and long stretches of sandy terrain. According to Pri, fatigue accumulates after consecutive days of intense hiking; however, nature offers invigorating pauses in the crystal-clear lagoons along the route.
