Cab Ride FGC | S1 Terrassa Nacions Unides - Les Planes | Tren Granota

Welcome to a new journey in the cabin of the FGC 400 series, better known as the "Frog Train," operating an S1 service from Terrassa Nacions Unides to Les Planes, stopping at every station along the way (you can find the exact time of each station in the comment below). The time the train spends at some stations has been shortened and/or accelerated to avoid a longer video. On our journey, we will depart from the end of the S1 line (Pl. Catalunya - Terrassa), Terrassa Naciones Unidas, and after crossing the co-capital of Vallès Occidental, we will head towards Rubí, passing through Les Fonts. Once in Rubí, we will continue our journey to Sant Cugat, passing by the well-known Hospital General and the Mira-sol neighborhood. Finally, we will arrive at Les Planes, bordering the Collserola mountain range. As for railway curiosities, the FGC series 400 ("Frog Train") is a train specifically remodeled to serve the first Sunday of each month on the Barcelona-Vallès line between Les Planes and Sabadell/Terrassa. Formerly, the FGC series 400 operated between 1944 and 2004, reaching 60 years of service after several renovations and becoming an iconic train in the history of this line and the FGC company. Due to the age of this train, it is only equipped with the "Home Mort" safety system. Activate the video subtitles and you will be able to listen to various explanations during the tour.
