Our Sicilian adventure continues! After the downpour at the church, we spontaneously refresh Tomke's baptism at a holy spring. 😂💦 We search for new spots and find a spectacular campsite overlooking Gangi, where even a deer wanders in. The next morning, we experience a real surprise: The sun miraculously rises over the crater of Mount Etna, more than 100 kilometers away! 🌋 An absolute highlight awaits us at Mount Etna: We park our 4x4 camper at a challenging site right on a real lava field! Since the volcano is still very active, this adds a special dose of thrills and adventure. As if that weren't exciting enough, we set off from there to explore a fascinating lava cave. On our journey, we meet up with the bikers again and set up camp together right by the lake. There, we get some animal visitors: goats, sheep, donkeys, and an adorable stray dog, whom we immediately shower with love and food.
