UP TALKS Interaction of Science, Technology and Society Through Time Alipio Garcia Alipio T. Garcia is a professor of Physics at UP Baguio, teaching for almost 3 decades now. I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (UPB) and went on to pursue advance degrees in Physics (MS, PhD from NIP-UPD). In addition to Physics courses, I have been teaching GE courses in Physics and Science, Technology, and Society for almost 2 decades now. I have several publications in semiconductor Physics and Optoelectronics, which continued to be my research interests, in addition to Cordillera materials culture of late.
