ADRRN Dialogues - Beyond Beneficiaries: Designing Inclusive SPHERE Training - MPBI

In this episode of ADRRN Dialogues, MPBI joins us to discuss their SEHATI project, which is piloting an inclusive SPHERE training model for disaster preparedness and climate resilience across five provinces in Indonesia. Supported through ADRRN's SIDRRA grant, the project is strengthening disability-inclusive capacity among people with disabilities, older people, and women, groups often excluded from preparedness and adaptation work. The conversation explores how shifting from participation to co-creation can strengthen community resilience, what it means to centre disability inclusion in disaster risk reduction, and how practical training models can become platforms for both local practice and regional learning and advocacy.
