Sheffield: Guide and History

Sheffield is one of Britain's great cities. From a hill overlooking the city, narrator, Geoff Druett, looks at the early history of the city. We then move down to Kelham Island and the canal basin, before visting the Cathedral and Town Hall areas. We pass through the Peace Gardens, along the Winter Garden to the city's Cultural Quarter: Tudor Square. We end with views of the Botanical Gardens and the view from Stanage Edge (the Peak District) where you can see Sheffield sat in a bowl, surrounded by seven hills.
