Sometimes, when visiting a small town, it's impossible to guess its history. Sometimes, if we don't delve into the dusty archives, delve a little deeper, we might miss something truly significant, something extraordinary. And yet, such oversights are easy to come by – after all, wars and all sorts of other catastrophes effectively "camouflage" this history. This description perfectly fits the small town of Savran, located on the border of the Ukrainian oblasts of Odessa and Kirovohrad. Today, it's a sleepy, rather provincial (but well-maintained!) town, but it was once chosen as his Podolia residence by a man whom, without a shred of exaggeration, we can call a legend. Excuse me: a legend! Wacław Emir Rzewuski – a friend of the Cossacks, a fearless explorer, a great lover of Arabian horses, and a man who absolved his father's sins. A great and (unjustly) somewhat forgotten figure. Interestingly, a figure who also had indirect ties to... Bydgoszcz! We invite you to the screening!
