I've never seen anything this detailed before, lol. The bold descriptions caught my eye, but even an amateur could do the job. ^ ^ I was skeptical, so I'll include the installation date. lol This video was filmed on June 17, 2018. ^ ^ Items used: AUG (Augu) Ultra-Hard Acrylic Coating Agent for Headlight Yellowing Removal https://amzn.to/2rN61oz 3M Masking Tape https://amzn.to/2MUaT45 The process took about 30 minutes per side while I was filming. Worn-out headlights can have not only yellowing but also scratches. It comes with a 5-year warranty, so be sure to thoroughly remove the yellowing and scratches with the included waterproof sandpaper. Bug sprays, alcohol, and solvent-based solutions may remove the yellowing, but they won't remove scratches. Compounds and Pical products won't remove scratches either. This is the most thorough job, but if you don't properly coat the glass to prevent recurrence, it will quickly deteriorate. Steamers, which are popular these days, produce a beautiful finish and are very good, but they're so expensive I'm hesitant to take the plunge. I think there are various ways to remove yellowing, but I recommend using a dedicated coating. Even if you remove the yellowing with household products, a sloppy coating will quickly restore it to its original state. (It will usually return to bright yellow in 1-3 months.)
