(The daughter of Shabani and Ai) Ai and Annie are mother and daughter, but Ai abandoned Annie soon after she was born. Therefore, Annie was raised by artificial nursing away from the gorilla pack for about a year after she was born. Annie returned to the gorilla pack a year later, but Ai does not recognize Annie as her own daughter. Annie also does not recognize Ai as her mother.
