African Governments Now Demand Reparations for Chattel Slavery

Africa, Black People, Slavery, and Colonialism: Now Governments are Demanding Reparations. Three months ago, only the United States, Argentina, and Israel voted against a United Nations General Assembly resolution recognising African chattel slavery as one of the worst crimes against humanity. Why did the U.S. oppose such a vital bill? What motivated the irrelevant Javier Milei's Argentina and the most hated country in the world, Israel, to vote against it? Last week, Ghana took a significant step by hosting a conference titled "Next Step", attended by black African heads of state, including some from the Caribbean. In this video, I discuss the misplaced priorities surrounding these compensation calls. I believe they are a distraction and will not bring about meaningful change for black African countries. Instead, the focus should be on education, unity, strategic planning, and establishing long-term goals. We welcome your thoughts in the comments section.
