Hello everyone, today I'm happy to present a new video about flax! And not just any video, since we're at Guillaume Letur's company, Teillage de Brittany. Four years ago, he sowed 8 hectares of flax, and today he harvests around 1,250 hectares! You heard, of course, 1,250 hectares of flax in Brittany, a great comeback since Brittany stopped producing and harvesting flax several decades ago. This growth is due to the founder's determination, which motivates the region, as well as his strong partnerships with the Depestele family (flax scutchers for four generations) and the Glon family (Breton entrepreneurs). While waiting for the scutching plant to be established at the Commana site, all the flax is sent to the Depestele scutching mills in Normandy to ensure a market.
