Before seeing Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, I understood why some of the casting, historical accuracy, and online debates raised questions. After seeing the movie? Nearly all of those controversies turned out to be a complete nothing burger. Here's why the internet outrage has become disconnected from what's actually on screen, why so much of the conversation misses the point of the film, and why you should judge movies for yourself instead of letting social media do it for you.
