Reclaiming Farmland | Clearing Bush Lines to Gain 4 Acres of Farm Field

Good crops start long before the seeds ever hit the ground — and this video is proof of that. This week we're pulling back the curtain on all the work that happens before planting season even begins here on our small family dairy farm in Ontario. We're talking bush line clearing with an excavator, bringing in a mulcher to groom the soil at the edges of our freshly cleared fields, picking stones — both by hand and mechanically with an ELHO rock picker — getting an update from Eddy on the alfalfa field, and ending the whole day the way every good farm day should end: with a campfire. This is real farm life. It's not glamorous, it's not quick, and it doesn't come cheap. But this is what it takes to set your fields up for a good growing season on a working dairy farm. If you're a farmer, a farm wife, or you're just curious about what really goes on behind the scenes — we're glad you're here. 📌 WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO ✔ Clearing bush lines with an excavator ✔ Mulching & grooming field edges ✔ Stone picking — by hand AND with an ELHO rock picker ✔ Alfalfa field update ✔ Campfire cleanup at the end of a long day 🐄 WELCOME TO OUR FARM We're Eddy & Lauren — a husband and wife dairy farming team from Ontario, Canada.
