CARNE GUISADA (Portuguese Beef Stew)
This week, join Natasha in making another family favourite, Carne Guisada or Portuguese beef stew! this is a one-pot dish that goes lovely with a nice hunk of cornbread or a fresh papo seco (a roll!) Ingredients: 4 lbs of beef ( with or without bones) 12 small to med potatoes 1 med onion 1 link of chourico (Portuguese sausage) 1 cup of red wine 3-4 cups of water 1 tbsp of minced garlic 1 tbsp of thyme For the marinade mix together: 1 cup of pepper paste 1cup of red wine 1 ½ tbsp of minced garlic 1 tbsp of thyme Salt and pepper to taste Please leave us a comment to let us know what you think!
