Hey everyone! Welcome to the wild ride that is my Mounjaro weight loss journey, kicking off on September 8, 2025! Spoiler alert: I’ve battled my weight like it’s an Olympic sport. I’ve been on the rollercoaster of obesity my whole life—think of it as a series of unfortunate events. After having a gastric band in 2011, I lost a bunch of weight, and then, surprise! I gained 8 stone back. Who knew cookies could be so persuasive? Then came the gastric bypass in 2017, where I lost 10 stone and thought I had finally found the magic formula—until the bypass decided it was time to retire and left me with a 3.5 stone reunion tour.
