‘I’m A Man & The Weight Loss Jabs Changed My Life’ | This Morning

61-year-old doorman Ted Ward always looked after his body, even earning the nickname ‘Tasty Ted’. But after leaving his job, his weight rapidly increased to 24.5 stone, resulting in painful gout in his knees, high blood pressure and cholesterol. Last year, Ted decided enough was enough, cutting down the calories and swapping junk food for the gym. Despite getting down to 18 stone in four months, he just couldn’t shift the four stone. But after a deep dive on social media, he found his answer - the weight-loss drug Mounjaro which has transformed his life and his own marriage. Ted joins us in the studio to break down the impact the injection has had on his confidence, and why taking the drug shouldn’t be taboo for men who are struggling to shed those vital pounds.
