We’ll share with you one story, a story of the children and youth who never choose their starting point. ‘Ghetto Kids’ - The battle for survival in the dense ghetto of Kisenyi, in the heart of Kampala. Following the story of children living out in the street and the volunteers who dedicate their lives to help them. The film invites anyone to dedicate a moment of awareness. Nir Neuman and Bar Baier are two photographers based in Israel. They have been working with Love Nature Child & Youth Foundation since 2019 on ‘Ghetto Kids’. The goal was to document in the most real and respectful way the harsh reality of the street children of Kisenyi and the difficult situation that cities in Africa reached following urbanization. It is just one story out of many and we encourage everyone to look for more stories that will connect us human beings together!
