The Quick Summer Job That Keeps Borders Looking Their Best
At this time of year, I like to spend a little time deadheading flowers that have finished blooming. It's one of the quickest jobs in the garden, but it can make a huge difference to the appearance of the borders and help many plants put their energy into producing more flowers rather than seed. In today's video, I take you around the garden and show you the plants I'm deadheading at the moment, explain why I do it, and share a few simple tips that help keep the garden looking fresh and colourful as we move into summer. Gardening doesn't always have to involve big projects. Sometimes it's the small jobs that make the biggest difference. Thank you for joining me in the garden today and, as always, I'd love to hear what jobs you're tackling in your own garden this week. • How and when to prune back your Weigela • How to get more blooms on your climbing ro... #Deadheading #GardenMaintenance #SummerGarden #CottageGarden #EnglishGarden #GardeningUK #GardenTips #FlowerGarden #JuneGarden #TheDownToEarthGardener
