The 'impossible dream combination' of Korean dance history becomes a reality! Choi Hyun, Kook Soo-ho, Jung Jae-man, and Lim Yi-jo are dance masters who enriched Korean dance by fighting against prejudice in a female-dominated dance world while establishing unique artistic worlds or distinct styles named after themselves. Through their disciples, they finally stand on one stage. 📌[Performance Details] Lim Yi-jo’s Gyobang Salpuri Dance premiered in 1978. Unlike traditional Salpuri dances that embody deep sorrow and grief, this piece offers a different feel, expressing the dignity and refined atmosphere of women. The essence of this dance lies in its exquisite footwork, which harmonizes with the music to delicately express coquetry, and the exquisite charm of traversing between beats.
