I wouldn't recommend this UK supermarket pork butt

Cooking pulled pork from a pork butt is always a winner in my book. Cooked on the Weber Summit Kamado bbq low and slow using Globaltic lumpwood and cherry wood smoke, along with Firefly bbq rub and sauce. Farmfoods is a UK supermarket, famous in the bbq industry for its Swift pork ribs and they've now started to distribute USE pork butt. We have really high standards in the UK for our pork, and other meats and whilst I did enjoy eating this, it just wasn't nearly as good as British pork that I've experienced in the past. I wouldn't suggest you avoid this option, I'd just recommend you buy British pork as it's better. The taste, the texture and there's obviously the welfare element, not forgetting supporting our british meat producers and butchers.
