CASA GERASSI: a incrível casa brutalista de Paulo Mendes da Rocha

Have you ever wondered what it's like to live inside an icon of Brutalist architecture? In this Open House, we visit Casa Gerassi, located in São Paulo, a project by the master Paulo Mendes da Rocha, which gained a new life with the vision of Studio Roca (@studioroca). We explore how the architects managed to balance the robustness of the concrete with decorative solutions that made the space extremely cozy. I was welcomed by Carlos Carvalho (@crloscarvalhoarq), who took me to discover how the house was zoned to function simultaneously as a productive workspace and a residential retreat. What you will see in this video: The cladding solutions to warm up the concrete. How Studio Roca curated the furniture. The challenge of integrating office and living space without losing fluidity and respecting the original design. The project started as a blog in 2008, born from my passion for decorating spaces, when I was setting up my first home. With time and a lot of dedication, Casa de Valentina grew, took shape, and matured. I received invitations to write articles for leading magazines in the field, I was featured on a magazine cover, and we earned the title of the most influential design and décor blog in Latin America. Here on YouTube, you'll find a curated selection of architectural projects, with great interior design solutions. A space for us to share inspiration and good taste!
