Washington Park, the DEEPEST Train Station in North America | Portland MAX Light Rail
We're back on MAX, and this time we're headed to Washington Park station. This underground stop is in the middle of the Robertson Tunnel, the longest tunnel on the network. What makes it a record-holder is the fact that it is located 260 feet (79 meters) below the surface. The only way to access the station is by two sets of elevators. Join Thom as he shows you around the fun-fact-filled platforms and the park area above the surface. Don't be afraid of the conversation getting really deep really fast... Trains Are Awesome!
