How to Do Tendus from 5th Position | Balance, Placement & En Croix Tips
Have you ever felt like you’ve got battement tendus from 1st down, but the second you start working from 5th position, everything falls apart? You’re not alone. Maybe your legs aren’t closing cleanly, you feel off balance, or you’re unsure where to close when moving through a combination. In this video, I’m here to help you work through all of that. These are the same questions and struggles I see in my own students, and we’re going to walk through them together. We’ll break down: 💙 How to use and think about your supporting leg. 💙 What en croix means and the simple rules that guide it. 💙 How to find the right placement of the foot and leg. 💙 What’s happening with your pelvis - because that placement matters more than you might think. Tendus from 5th may be a small movement, but they hold a lot of power when done with clarity and purpose. Let’s get into it! 🔹 Want more ballet tips?
