28 days in Uzbekistan (May 2025): visiting Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, the Fergana Valley, and the exclave of Shohimardon (located within Kyrgyzstan) allowed me to better understand the local cultures that define Uzbekistan, its rich ethnic diversity, and the valuable historic heritage that made this region a crossroads for humanity.
