Co Tak Naprawdę Stało Się z Karierą MEZO?!

Jacek Mejer, known as Mezo, was born in Poznań in 1982. His journey began with a fascination with Run-DMC and the first illegal bands on the Poznań scene, where authenticity was defined by street experiences. His breakthrough came with his 2003 debut album, "Mezokracja," which was an immediate commercial success but also drew harsh criticism from the hip-hop community. The term "hip-hopolo" was coined – a symbol of contempt for commercial rap, with which Mezo became associated after the album "Aniele." The conflict with Ten Typ Mes and the media jokes by Kuba Wojewódzki further cemented his negative image in the rap world, despite the growing popularity of his hits "Sacrum" and "Ważne." In the following years, he oscillated between the mainstream and an attempt to return to his roots. Personal crises led him to change his image and focus on sports and family. His latest album, "Legacy," summarizes his journey and attempts to resolve long-standing conflicts.
