Host: Septyana Eka VP: Reza P Reporter: Luhur Pambudi SURABAYA — A CCTV video that went viral on social media captured the beating of a barber on Jalan Sepat Lidah Kulon, Lakarsantri, Surabaya, on Monday (March 31, 2026). The incident occurred around 12:00 PM WIB. The victim was identified as Isbad Ubaidillah (27), a resident of Probolinggo who worked at a barbershop in Surabaya. He was assaulted by an unknown man riding a motorcycle. According to the victim's account, the incident began with an argument between the perpetrator and a pair of motorcyclists on the street. The perpetrator then approached the victim, who was sitting on the barbershop porch, and vented his anger. The perpetrator pushed, held him in a chokehold, and punched the victim in the face several times. In fact, the victim was not involved in the dispute and was allegedly only trying to break it up.
