12 mi. Solo Adventure in my Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 Kayak

I am new to kayaking and wanted a challenge. So I started at our family camp, south of interstate 12, on the Tchefuncte River and paddled my Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 all the way up the Bogue Falaya River to The Chimes restaurant in Covington, Louisiana. The whole trip ended up being 12.4 miles round trip and took about 4 hours, not counting the down time at the restaurant.
