2006: 🏈 Refugio vs Skidmore Tynan October 27, 2006: Refugio 21, Skidmore-Tynan 24 S-T Bounces Refugio in 2nd Quarter Victoria Advocate October 28, 2006 The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats used a 24-point outburst in the second quarter to defeat the Refugio Bobcats 24-21 in a District 31-2A game. Skidmore-Tynan, now 3-1 in district and 7-1 overall, scored in the second on runs of 1 and 2 yards by John Boscamp, and on a 31-yard pass from Garret Vandever to Jeremy Johnson while Adam Aguilar booted an 18-yard field goal and three conversions. Refugio, now 4-1 in district and 8-1 overall, rallied on a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs by Carl Swain, who also ran in a 2point conversion. Quarterback Garrett Murphy also tossed a 75-yard touchdown pass to Ricky Lewis with 10:46 to play. Murphy completed 8 of 19 passes for 260 yards while Travis Martino had 3 catches for 127 yards and Swain had 3 reception for 88 yards. Swain also rushed 14 times for 35 yards.
