Dyna Oil Pan Mod | Build Series Ep. 2

In this video we cover the Dyna Oil Pan Mod built specifically for stunt riding and wheelies. On a stock Harley-Davidson Dyna oil pan, the oil pickup is located toward the front of the pan. When the bike is tipped back into a sustained wheelie, oil can move away from that pickup and the oil pump can suck air, lose prime, and drop oil pressure—and that can destroy a Twin Cam fast. This modification addresses that exact problem by changing how the oil pickup is fed during high-angle riding, helping maintain oil pressure during wheelies and aggressive stunt use. We show the parts, explain what’s happening inside the pan, and walk through the oil pickup change so you understand the “why” behind it—not just the steps. This is not a must-do upgrade for every Dyna – BUT - if you’re building a Dyna stunt bike, practicing wheelies, or riding at high angles consistently, this is one of those mods that can save an engine.
